Size Exchanges
For our local renters, size exchanges are simple. Call us ahead at (513)-793-1300 and we will ensure we have the next size available for you. Stop in our Kenwood or Mason stores to swap out your instrument. We will need to update your credit card information and do a small amount of paperwork. The whole process should take less than 5 minutes!
Return Policy Whether your child is no longer playing, you have another instrument, or you do not need it for the summer, we are sorry to see you go, but our return policy is very simple! Bring in the instrument, case, and bow, and after checking over the instrument we will cancel your contract the same day. In the event that the instrument is damaged beyond reasonable repair, you will be responsible for the amount of the purchase price, less $250.
We ask that you give the instrument a try for at least 60 days. After that if you are still unsatisfied, local yearly renters can receive a prorated refund for the unused portion of the paid rental price. The three free months at the end of the contract year will be lost upon cancellation.
Do not forget about your equity. Every year you rent, you build up credit to purchase an instrument of equal or greater value than the one you currently rent. Not sure how long you have rented?
Instrument Trial Policy
We are thrilled to see that you are interested in our fine instruments. There are a few steps you must take before you can take one out on approval.
1) Each instrument requires a deposit. A rental violin deposit is one year’s rent. A deposit amount for a ‘for sale only’ instrument is one third of the retail price. 100% of your deposit will be refunded once the instrument is returned in the same condition as it was loaned to you.
2) Deposits last for 2 weeks from the date of the deposit. After the 2-week period your credit card will be charged the remaining balance.
3) A valid credit card and driver’s license must be put on file for any trial.
Bow Return Policy We are thrilled to see that you are interested in purchasing a new bow! There are a few steps you must take before you can take one out on approval.
1) Come in to our Kenwood shop and one of our friendly associates will be happy to help you choose the bow that best suits your needs! Each bow is unique, and you will want to play several before selecting the one that sounds and feels the best on your own instrument.
2) When you have chosen a bow, you can purchase it. If after two weeks you have decided to keep shopping, bring it back for a full refund.
Equity Policy
If rent payment is current, and the instrument is returned in good condition allowing for normal wear and tear, you may apply rental equity up to 100% of the retail purchase price if you are purchasing the instrument that you have been renting for the previous 12 months. Rental equity may be applied up to 60% of the retail purchase price of another instrument of similar or higher quality from Antonio Violins’ current inventory at the time of purchase.
